The Republic of Türkiye, which has recently celebrated the centenary of its founding, has, during the 100 years it has left behind, written an exemplary story of economic and social development.
Despite new challenges faced by the global economy particularly in the aftermath of the pandemic, Türkiye has continued its steady growth performance and proven to be a resilient economy. Thanks to its geostrategic location, strong manufacturing capabilities, young and dynamic population and developed logistics infrastructure, Türkiye is becoming an important hub for global supply chains.
The revised Free Trade Agreement between EFTA states and Türkiye, which entered into force on October 1st, 2021, has created additional impetus in Turkish-Swiss bilateral economic relations and presents Swiss companies with new growth opportunities. The increase in bilateral trade figures has been steady and currently, nearly 1000 companies with Swiss capital are operating in Türkiye.
Invest in Türkiye, the official organization for promoting Türkiye's investment opportunities, in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Bern, the Consulate General of the Republic of Türkiye in Geneva and the CCIG, cordially invites you to the “Market Focus: Türkiye” Conference where participants will receive up-to-date information on the state of the Turkish economy, as well as the ease with which to do business with and/or invest in Türkiye; and hear about testimonials of Swiss companies which have successfully invested in or done business with Türkiye. The event will be followed by a reception providing participants with networking opportunities.
